"$36 trillion and climbing. After hearing from state financial officers, Senators took action—declaring America's debt a national security threat. Their ‘Mission Possible’ is now our call to act. Fiscal solvency is essential. The time is now. courierpress.com/story/opinion/…
Glad to join my fellow financial officers in signing a letter urging Congress and @POTUS to take immediate action on the $38T national debt. Thanks to @Comp_Nieshalla for leading on this important issue. 🔗bit.ly/489CrNn
Yesterday, as chair of the #NationalDebt Crisis Task Force, I joined @GovBraun , legislators & financial officers nationwide in urging Congress & President Trump to act on the $38T debt. States are at the ready to support a long-term plan. 🔗: nypost.com/2025/11/20/bus…
This week, the #nationaldebt topped $38T. It took 205 years to reach the first trillion—now we’ve added $1T since August alone. Unsustainable. Our kids and grandkids will bear the cost unless we act: rein in spending, balance the budget, and grow the economy.
Today’s meeting with @NCHCChamber members was one of great engagement & thoughtful discussion! Not only did I have the opportunity to highlight Indiana’s solid financial standing, but we also heard from two outstanding students at Heartland Christian School! #AtYourService

Remembering the innocent lives horrifically taken on October 7 in Israel-an attack on Jewish people & all of Western civilization. Let’s be sure to teach our children the history behind this conflict& why we stand with Israel. Praying for the hostages, families &their release.🇮🇱
Final Takeaway from the National Debt Crisis Forum - There is an absolute need to get back to balanced budgets and to structurally reform critical programs to ensure their sustainability so they are viable for the most vulnerable - let's go! #RestoreAmericasFiscalSolvency
Day 4/5 takeaway from the National Debt Crisis Forum — @SpeakerJohnson likened our nation’s finances to a massive ship: turning takes time, but we must start now. Leaders face hard work ahead, and states’ support is the wind in their sails. #RestoreAmericasFiscalSolvency
This #ConstitutionDay, my Forum takeaway is clear: drifting from solvency threatens the strength of our republic. We must preserve our hard-won freedom, our dollar as the reserve currency &our global position of leadership by getting our debt to GDP ratio down.
Forum Takeaway #2: We must build grassroots support & create a mandate from the states to address the debt. This massive burden devalues every dollar in our pockets, erodes buying power & sets us up for GREAT pain if we don’t change our trajectory. #restoreamericasfiscalsolvency
Look to the states! Today's Debt Forum takeaway is that many states have forged roadmaps to go from broke to solvent. The work of two were highlighted, @SenRickScott who led turning Florida around and @purduemitch who did the same for Indiana! #RestoreAmericasFiscalSolvency

Proud to help host the National Debt Crisis Forum at the US Capitol as Chairwoman of the National Debt Crisis Task Force! Leaders shared bold visions for restoring America’s fiscal health. I’ll post a takeaway from the Forum each day this week! #RestoreAmericasFiscalSolvency
💥 Indiana @Comp_Nieshalla is leading the charge on tackling America’s debt. She brought leaders from across the nation to DC for the National Debt Crisis Forum, hosted by SFOF, @CFGfoundation & @EPICforAmerica, calling for immediate action. 🧵
