Solid progress in reclaiming Paris’ streets for people.
Highway removal along the Seine resulted in a 29% traffic reduction in the area, meaning projects like these increasingly feasible. Further vehicle traffic reductions and walking, cycling, and public transport gains are expected as Paris removes 70,000 on-street parking spaces.

All advocacy is worthwhile. B4L/S4P had a campaign in 2018 to add bike facilities as part of the Sherman Minton Bridge Renewal Project. That didn't go anywhere but New Albany Mayor Gahan reached out at that time to discuss this project. Three years later, here we go.

If we could get land/improvement data from the Jefferson County PVA for free instead of paying $15K+ for it, we could do analysis, maps, and see tax revenue benefits. Also if the PVA was on social media we could tag them. @ky_sdc @kyopengov @RevenueKY
