Got to say. That’s a new one. A network card overheated on a router at cardinal ridge today. On a plus side rebooting it fixed it until we could swap it out. Sorry for that service bump at 6pm, but we figured planned vs not was better.
Power surge took out our core switch for folks at wingover east. that's Even number ekstam, cornelius and ibis. Humming birds area, you should be back online
Most sites were restored at 330. Parkway ct users you are back up and running s as of now. Looks like 407 n fell is there only thing left. We are investigating that on-site shortly
We have an interesting random outage issue in Bloomington normal. We have techs on site troubleshooting they issue at the main network site. No eta yet.
In our line of work we do not get detailed Reason for outage. Mostly because the outages are far from what we control. Today 214 meadows started to flap. On arrival we where able to diagnosis and fix it. A very melted cable. Replaced and good to go
Winfield. The alert came in. Says it’s back online. We are early in the restoration so anything is possible. We now cautiously wait.
Winfield update. ISP confirms underground cable damage far off site. Sounds like they are actively working on it. With underground cable damage restoration takes time. No ETA was provided as of yet.
Winfield Is still reporting as down. We have continued to reach out to their connection to the internet, It is said to be assigned to a technician but no further information was provided
Winfield. Upstream is aware of an issue and is actively searching the the cause. No eta yet
Pv of Chatham outage is resolved. New issue at Winfield currently investigating.
Looks like they are figuring it out. PV of Chatham remains down. Lake pointe, PV of Peoria and Cardinal ridge are back in the green.
Odd issue affecting one of our smaller upstream. Prairie Vista of Peoria, Prairie vista of Chatham, Lake Point and Cardinal Ridge. Looks like they in general are having a performance issue this morning as its effecting all of their sites. We are investigating now.
College Park, Normal IL. Power is back. Looks like so is our gear.

30 mins still working. Id bore you with the Reason for outage, but the simplest form is the management card decided to do unexpected things. The outage after the outage was replacing it.
Update. Actually at the main data center. Hopefully that fixed the stranglers of parkway ct. though we are still monitoring with the provider. But it did all light up for a moment.
11am update, Our provider continues to work on the issue.
Major provider issue in the Bloomington/Normal area. Id list off what's down, but it would be easier to say what's working. our provider has people looking into it now.
