Today I felt like I wanted to cry at work, but didn't cry. For me, the hardest part being a software developer is learning to cope with and overcome the feelings of inadequacy that come from within. Noone told me I was inadequate today & I couldn't wish for a better work place.
We hired young apprentice developer at work this week. Yesterday he read the tour of #golang. Today I sat with him and we started building hangman. He did all the typing, I was just a guide drawing on post-its. It feels so good to be mentoring again. I love helping others learn.
It's been weeks now. The other humans are nice, but they can't stop wittering on about Java. I want my GoLang human back!
