Accordingly, Farfield Quaker Meeting House is one of the oldest Quaker meeting houses in England. This humble structure recently came into the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches, having previously been cared for by the Historic Chapels Trust.
This burial ground at Farfield was granted to the fledgling local Quaker community in 1666 by Anthony Myers. After the Act of Toleration, this simple yet beautiful Quaker Meeting House was constructed in 1689.

The grave that calls January the eleventh month commemorates Sarah Myers, who was the granddaughter of the founder of Farfield Quaker Meeting House, Anthony Myers.
