Ding chanelling his inner Houdini again in this match #DingGukesh

Joe and Kamala have made me very happy, and have kind of made me want to be American 😀.

Well, it’s a once in a lifetime event that the year is the product of two consecutive prime numbers. 2021 is better already! Last occurred 1763, next one 2491. Tremendous numbers!

#BigBoyPants Where can I buy a pair?

An excellent thing about mathematics is that when presented correctly it is utterly undeniable. Although, having said that, Orwell’s 1984 suggested people might be brainwashed to believe that 2+2=5. I wonder if math itself might be legally challenged in #Elections2020 😆😆😆

#Elections2020 If electoral fraud were in fact possible, surely @realDonaldTrump , who appears to lack any moral code, would be doing it. In any case, deliberate spreading of inflammatory misinformation concerning the votes is an equal crime.

Statistically, it seem clear to me that women make great world leaders. I have similar hypotheses concerning the current crop of male presidents and prime ministers.

Quality graphs in the announcement for the #2ndlockdown , if the brief was to make the information as vague and incomprehensible as possible to the general British public.

#ALevelProtests as a mathematician & education specialist I have to say to #ALevelVictims that the algorithmic model was mathematically DEEPLY FLAWED. Putting the terrible social discrimination aside, I’d be ashamed to have come up with such a poorly conceived mathematical model.

#AlevelResults Dear Boris. You must surely realise that the statistical model to determine A-level results is discriminatory & fundamentally wrong in so many ways. Please act to ensure that victims of circumstance get their grades fixed NOW rather than have life chances ruined.

Which is a worse error: student X gets great grades they might only get on a good day and they (shock!) get into university; or student Y gets terrible grades that they would only get on the worst imaginable day possible and have their life chances ruined?

Confusing interview just now in the @BBCNews about whether the over 70s and at risk people can or can’t leave their homes.

I’m trying to learn how to use Twitter. My prediction that it would all turn out to be a useless fad seems to have proven incorrect.

Come on Boris, see if you can answer a question directly. #ITVDebate

It takes a lot to get me to tweet, but semi final #glowup was result was unbelievable. How was it possible Belinda in bottom 2? Ah, biased judging, prejudice and flawed format. That’s how.

Down with Facebook and Up with Twitter for now

If a picture is worth a 1000 words and an average word is 6ish characters, does that make each tweet worth a maximum on 6140ish characters?
