One of the things I've been working on is a pc app for customizing and uploading button layouts and response curves. You can store several layouts and curves on the controller and swap between them on-the-fly. App doesn't need to run while in-game, config stored on the 🎮
Cant praise this enough. Been thinking someone should do this but personally dont have the knowledge/experience with low latency wireless systems. If they open source the schematics too I will definitelty look into integrating their wirelss solution in my controllers.
We are going to launch an open source programmable wireless mouse. We have completed the design work using the 3370 sensor. Players who can program can modify the firmware code by themselves, build their own super wireless mouse, or use the firmware code shared by others.
Rumor has it that ReWASD is allowed in Fortnite now. If true, that's good for the future of controller getting more customizable binds and something equivalent to scroll wheel reset.

If you're interested in other 3d printed controller projects you can check this guy out. Definitely a compelling option if you don't mind playing claw and still replacing their controller frequently. Next version replace adhesives with a clip and reinforce the connector/cable?
Power is back on at home finally so I can start printing again. Hope everyone who still doesn't have power is staying warm.
Made a snap in faceplate for covering the switches more and also made a slide-in plate that reduces key travel ~1.25mm. Bit tricky to install/remove because you have to slide it in without removing the keycaps but way better than O-rings which barely reduce travel.
