Great news from Del Mar on wagering business during summer meet. Computer Assisted Wagering companies were charged a higher host fee & CAWs were cut off at 2 minutes to post on win bets after first couple weeks, yet handle was up. Good work by racing office and management team.
Attn: Horseplayers, please help us encourage Santa Anita to include the "Place Pick-All" wager in their wagering menu. They are usually very open to expanding their menu, so please send a request to them. The more requests, the better the chances of getting the wager added.
Please, please add the "place pick all" wager. It is a great wager, already in the tote machines . It's been used at Del Mar for years. It does not canabalize others wagers. It's a great wager for the casual attendee, their horse doesn't need to win for them to be a winner!

Racing Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, whose life included many different chapters, nearly all of which shaped today's racing, died June 28 in Louisville, Ky. He was 89.
One of our key staff members, @TheDelMarKid, rescued a thoroughbred back in 2015 (renamed Misty). Sadly, Misty passed away today. She had a tremendous impact on children. Thank you to all those who were both practically and spiritually instrumental in this rescue.

Great wagering menu! Please also include the "Place-Pick All". It would make Santa Anita and Del Mar wagering more consistent. It is a great wager that is already programed into the betting machines and it does not cannibalize the other pools
