Desperate for a clean bedroom. If they clean their room the 'Cleaning Fairy' will come at night with a thank you note and a coin. #cleanroom
A TV remote to brush teeth. They press up, I brush the top, they press right, the brush goes to the right. They focus. I brush. #cleanteeth
Branding works. 'Princess Oatmeal' is hot oatmeal+raspberries+yogurt. It's great and my girls buy into the name. Bingo. #breakfastserved
Make cleaning up fun by being creative. A box becomes a train. Stuffed animals, the passengers. All aboard! #kidschores #kidsgames
#bedtime Children get onto the 'dream train' if their eyes are closed and their head is on the pillow. "Hurry, the dream train is coming!"
Ask your kids everyday what the best part of their day was. It helps them stay positive, and express gratefulness.
Use a cookie cutter to cut sliced ham into interesting shapes. Gingerbread Man, step aside for Ham Man! Odd? It works.#kidsdinner
Name the family car with your children. When you or your child says hello to it, use your remote to make the car beep to bring it to life.
Turn up your child's imagination using an imaginary knob on the back of their head. They will believe it's there if you do. Now run amok!
Turn logic off. Turn imagination on. This is for the parents. Kids' imaginations are always on.
