The unemployment rate is now at it's lowest in Jamaican history as STATIN has reported today that the rate is now at 7.8% for April 2019. The number of persons that were employed in April 2019 was 1,244,500, a 29,900 increase when compared to April 2018.

#BREAKING The images show a taxi operator accused of assaulting a woman on Cecelio Ave on Friday night. To his surprise a function was being held at STATIN. After hearing screams men swiftly came to the woman's aid, and restrained him as they waited for police to arrive.
