FWIW those who have gone on to become the best traders at our firm were often the best listeners when they began

Ok guys, i haven't been writing for a while but I figured a very nice Bitmex trick. This helped me making the killing trade below. I'll go with an example. Current Index price: 5500 Current swap price: 5000

Time is an important factor in trading that I don’t see very many people talk about. Here’s a few different ways that time becomes important when making trading decisions:

was feeling pretty good today when I found an old ETH wallet with some LINK that I bought during the ICO... but felt pretty shitty after I went through the transactions to find I sold 90% of what I bought a few days after the launch😭 RIP lamboto

Markets change regularly, Things that once worked well stop working, At the same time other opportunities arise. Trading is about being in a constant flow of adaptation. Find the new thing, Trade it until it stops working, Find a new thing. Repeat.

First big loss on the account... felt pretty shitty for a few days but sound words of advice and encouragement have brought my head back in the game ! Cheers fellas!

What are your favourite features/inefficiencies from each exchange? My ideal platform would be the Bitmex User interface and order types, FTX for its matching engine, and community engagement, and OKex for its shit liquidation engine

The statistical power of your own trade history is largely underrated.

Recent moves down have been slow and grindy, while the moves up have been swift and fast. What can we draw from that and where does that mean most market participants are positioned right now? Thoughts?

Tip for OKex traders: Try to make your scalps just before daily settlement time, by doing this you won't have to watch the negative p&l balance as it haunts your day and eats your soul for the next 24 hours.

OKex Futures insurance fund loses 85% of its capital to cover the liquidation loses of this mornings move. Unlikely it'll be able to cover a similar size move in the near future! I wonder how much of Bitmex 250Mil will be hit? #btc #okex #liquidation #bitmex
