28 years Ago today a certain Darlin ended the 29 victory streak of @SHendry775 at the Crucible... @kendoherty1997 won 18x12 to become 1997 World Snooker Champion.
One of the things I'm most looking forward to next season is how Wu Yize plays. I reckon he may have a chance at winning a ranking event. Maybe a home nations one.

Over the past 17 days I've decided to shut myself of from my thoughts and problems using Snooker as the escape and I must say it's been a pleasure.

Zhao Xintong the first Chinese world champion. Hats off to him.
A couple years ago Selby was 13-9 and 14-10 down against Brecel and brought it back to within 1 frame to 16-15. Could we be in for something similar here? #snookerworldchampionship
I half get Zhao's approach here but he can't carry this on for too long. Will need to start playing these pots with an element of safety otherwise he's making it too easy.
These constantly underwhelming finals makes me think that perhaps there should be a days rest before the finals. Maybe make the semis 3 session matches with slightly longer sessions.
At least someone said it. It was much needed.
We were robbed not having a Judd Vs Zhao final here. Would've been a special spectacle on the biggest stage which hopefully would've kicked off a great rivalry. Shame.
