The A595 at Wreaks Causeway near Broughton-in-Furness is currently closed in both directions by Wreaks Moss due to a collision this morning. @Cumbriapolice are asking drivers to find an alternative route. 07:50 hrs.

❌ M6 southbound blocked by a collision ❌ Traffic has been temporarily held on the M6 southbound between J37 (Killington) and J36 (Crooklands) due to a collision involving a vehicle which has crashed into the central reservation. Queueing traffic on the approach. 16:35 hrs.
Traffic has now been released in both directions on the #M6 in #Cumbria between J35 (#Carnforth) and J36 (#KirkbyLonsdale). 2 lanes (of 3) however remain closed on the northbound carriageway at this time. There's 2.5 miles of congestion on approach so please allow extra time.

🚧 M6 Southbound Emergency Overnight Closure at Shap 🚧 The M6 southbound has been closed from J39 (Shap) to J38 (Tebay) for emergency resurfacing following the earlier diesel spillage. National Highways has advised that resurfacing works will take place overnight.

🚦 A590 Lindal in Furness 🚦 Motorists should expect delays on the A590 today due to temporary traffic signals on Ulverston Road in Lindal in Furness. Work is ongoing to remove street furniture for an upcoming abnormal load movement. The signals are due to be removed by 2pm.
