Christian faith is not primarily about reformation, but resurrection. It's not the weak being made strong, but the dead being made alive.

I support strong enforcement of immigration laws. Congress needs to strengthen and improve ours. But the loss of constitutional rights and liberties to US citizens in such enforcement is unacceptable. I doubt this is the only case. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/…

I just wrote my first note on Substack substack.com/profile/427945…

I learned that a fundamentalist leader was operating multiple anonymous social media accounts to attack many of his colleagues. Back in my day, he would have just preached a sermon against them for “compromise!” I know this, because I sat through those kinds of sermons!

I get how a stray phone number could be added to a large group Signal chat. What I wonder is how not one of those who are charged with the security of our nation’s secrets asked, “Should we be using this platform? Shouldn’t we use more a secure channel?”

Not sure what's going on with #ohiostate but they look like they are trying to lose.

@samsonite,l bought my new Samsonite luggage with the store salesman assuring me that it would stand up to wear and tear. They didn't say it would look like it had been through a war after its first overseas trip. Solid, but shows every scratch.

Oh well…good season, Lions. Work on the pass defense for next year.

Ok, this first half has been better than I could have guessed. Thirty minutes left. Go, Lions!

Watching the Lions in an NFC championship game is a surreal experience for someone born the last year they won it all! Go Lions!

I’m taking a break from Twitter. Not that active, so not sure it’s going to be noticeable, but pursuing a season of focus, and time in here seems to encourage the opposite.

Perhaps as we all mourn ⁦@timkellernyc⁩ ‘s passing, we can also be reminded that this day is also one that speaks of present confidence and future hope. cyberparson.com/blog/ascension…

I didn’t read it when it first appeared, but I’m so glad I read it now. @edstetzer nails so many issues here but with a velvet hammer. Where you agree, you are grateful for his voicing your thought, where you don’t, you have to examine your own thinking pretty hard.
