2/2 his own struggles. It's a messy story mirrors a lot of readers' lives which made it authentic. I never liked the ending, didn't have a great resolution. It's not a great book overall, but one that English majors/teachers love to teach bc the themes are shallow &easy to find.
My thoughts on #catcherintherye it was easy to dismiss Holden as a whiny kid trying to find his way as a teen. It felt dated but still relatable when I read it. Knowing now that JD Salinger had PTSD and lived a hermit life after publishing, I think catcher shows a lot more 1/2

While I hate math textbooks as much as anyone that struggled w math, I won't censor them. FL says it's due to #CRT, they mean the book has some stock photos of #POC / green hair / possibly #gay coded clothing / women thinking etc .. in short not chock full of dead white guys.

I read #Maus in college. it's dark, depressing & scary. It shows the Holocaust In all it's evil. Its also a marvel of graphic novels. Everyone should read it along w Barefoot gen (Herosoma atomic bomb). Oppose any censorship, read all baned books, scare the pearl clutchers.
