Milankovitch Cycles and solar inertial motion don't explain modern climate change. CO2 does.

Memphis is now the site of a first-in-the-nation (as far as we, or they, can tell) building code reform intended to make it easier to build missing middle housing, by removing regulatory restrictions that too often cripple small-scale projects. bit.ly/32xTF9k
Borgund Stavkyrkje (a medieval Norwegian stave church), built in 1180. The church was closed in 1868. It was purchased in 1877 by the National Trust of Norway (Fortidsminneforeningen) thereby saving it from demolition. It is now a museum. (Links in the comments)

62 years ago. And we’re still racing in the wrong direction. Faster and faster. So many have tried to sound the alarm but our society keeps pressing snooze. However if we started treating the crisis like a crisis more and more people would become aware and all this could change.
We can still avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis if we take necessary action now. But for that to happen these stories need to dominate the news - like in any crisis. Otherwise the public opinion needed to put pressure on people in power to act will never exist.
The period 1July 2019 - 30June 2020 was the warmest 12 months ever recorded. Wildfires, floods, storms, droughts, melting permafrost, locust swarms, historic heatwaves. And now glaciers are literally collapsing in front of our eyes. When will we start treating this as a crisis?

I’m a bit awestruck by Vienna transit. Clean, efficient, comprehensive. You can get anywhere to anywhere and you are always within a block of a subway station. It’s a network, so it’s possible to hop from line to line for efficient, short trips. And just 1€ a day, every day.
Every @CityOfDallas resident should have a #10minwalk to a park or trail. Proud to be part of this effort!
