7.Attempts to Undermine Me • Comments like “they don’t even know you” and “this is in-verse drama you wouldn’t understand” feel like an effort to isolate me or discredit my place in this space, despite the fact that I’ve been an active writer here, albeit new.
6.On Writing in This Verse • Writing in this space was something I had discussed with them and our mutual friends long before either of us joined. I’d been working on my character for months. There is no connection between when they joined verse and when I did.
5.Their Behavior After the Fact • After our discussion, this individual deleted an entire RP server we were both heavily involved in. This wasn’t just my work—it included years’ worth of solos, storylines, and collaborative efforts by multiple people. All of that. GONE.
4.(cont.) • Whether the tweet was about me or not, it is NOBODIES place to discuss another persons private relationship on the timeline. • Oh, and I am most certainly not having an emotional affair with my best friend. (That mfer would be lucky, lmao.)
3.(cont.) • Their tweet followed closely after I posted a call-out about toxic behavior in this space. • Without going into too much detail, aspects of the tweet—specifically references to being married and soft blocked—seemed to point at me.
3.Why I Believed the Tweet Was About Me • A mutual follower (who I won’t name for their safety, as per their request) had already questioned why we don’t interact anymore when they saw previous interactions between us on my asoiaf accounts.
1. (cont.) • I was called “unh*nged” and told to “take my p*lls,” which was disgusting and hurtful. 2. My Response • Throughout the exchange, I remained civil. I even apologised when they insisted the tweet wasn’t about me, despite many reasons leading me to believe otherwise.
Here’s the situation: 1.The Initial Accusation • I did accuse this individual of subtweeting me, and while I was civil in my approach, I could have asked them directly instead of assuming it was about me. That said, the reaction I received was completely unwarranted.
sex is PLOT. a good scene can reveal power dynamics, deepen relationships, or shift the story ENTIRELY. the problem isn’t ‘too much sex’ it’s when writers don’t make intimacy matter. tv doesn’t need less sex, it needs smarter storytelling.
Too much sex in tv shows. Take the sex out and give us a real plot. You can suggest that they had sex, don’t show us.
