Although it was severely disrupted, I’m sure every student will look back on their time at Sixth Form with fondness, as we progress to the next chapter of our lives. Thank you to everyone who made our time here so special! 💛 #dsfpride
And just like that... the amazing Year 13s have finished their time at school. From a students’ perspective, it has been the greatest honour to share this journey with you all. Thank you to all the teachers and pupils who have made the past two years incredible!

Head Boy, George Cummins and Head Girl, Emily Green represented Didcot Sixth Form this afternoon by laying a remembrance wreath at the Didcot War Memorial.”At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them”.
It’s a historic day as Vice President Kamala Harris is the first woman to hold this position, and better yet becoming the first WOMAN of COLOUR to be Vice! This is surely a day this generation will remember forever, and it reflects the evolving world we live in. 💙
Sen. Kamala Harris will be the United States’ next vice president, CNN projects. She will be the first woman to hold the office. She will also be the nation’s first Black and South Asian vice president. #CNNElection cnn.it/2U3AtIF
Joe Biden has been projected to become the 46th President of the United States, four years after he left his position as Obama’s Vice President. I know we should probably keep things here non-bias... but today is a good day for not only Americans, but the entire world. 💙

The US Election has been the focus of a fair few students within the Sixth Form since Tuesday. During this time, Trump has made some very strong allegations that claim the voting to be a ‘fraud’ and to stop counting votes that come in after election day. What are your thoughts?
The Sixth Form look forward to welcoming prospective students at our virtual Open Evening on Wednesday 18th November 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Please see the website for registration and further details.
This week, a lovely HOPE artistic piece was put in reception of SBS. It looks so wonderful and some of the messages on there hit close to home. What’s your hope for the future? #WorldMentalHealthDay
We were all so excited to welcome our Sixth Form back this week! We know that, for some, the return to school can be nerve-wracking, especially considering the current circumstances! All of the Exec are always free and ready to speak to you if you need it, don’t ever feel alone!
We are all so excited that we started school again today. We hope everyone is well rested and ready for the year ahead. What are you most looking forward to? We’re all so thrilled to be able to get to know you over the next few months and get you to access your full potentials!
Year 13- what are you thoughts on this? Should they be pushed back? Should we take them at the regular time? Or do you think, like this year, they should be cancelled all together? Or completed in a different way? Interesting conversations to be had!
