Unpopular opinion Sometimes you have to push athletes harder than they want, even if it hurts their feelings. Coddling them, lying and making them feel good is doing them a disservice.
As accurate as place kickers have become, I propose a 3 upright goal post. On a FG attempt, if the kicker hits the middle upright, the team gets 3 points. If he hits the left or right upright, they get 2 points. Failure to hit an upright is 0 points.
It's hard to believe that there isn't a Transfer Portal broadcast on ESPN or some other network. It could be a week long series.
