🎉 We’ve officially raised the flag on Season 6 of the Collingwood Music Festival! Honoured to be joined by Mayor Yvonne Hamlin (Collingwood), Mayor Doug Measures (Clearview Township) and many other dignitaries and supporters who help bring the arts to life in South Georgian Bay.
🚢 The Vasa Ship: armed with 64 cannons, royal ambition, and zero people willing to tell the king, “Uh… this might tip.” It sank 20 minutes into its maiden voyage but after 333 years underwater, it surfaced nearly perfectly preserved. Now it’s the world’s most majestic shipwreck
🎹 Playing Sibelius’ personal Steinway at Ainola, Finland - a gift from the Steinway Makers in 1915, crafted specially for his 50th birthday. The sound is incredibly warm across all registers - earthy, lyrical, and unmistakably Finnish. Can you name the tune? 🇫🇮🎶
