This is why I am so concerned that @FinanceCanada prioritize the implementation of #OpenBanking. The folks that are harmed most by delays are those who are not well served by our banking system as it stands today... and innovators like #Borrowell that are trying to help them.
I've been using this service for a year now so I understand this. My sense though is that the problem is not with #borrowell, but rather with my bank. It became difficult to remain connected once I had to report my rent monthly, which was certainly not the case in the beginning.
Every 🇬🇧 pub has the same sign behind the bar… “Free Beer Tomorrow”. Where do we hang the sign “Functional RTR Tomorrow”? Want change? Governance in the financial sector needs to become entirely independent from the organizations that dominate the sector.

Everyone at my company refers to vacation time as PTO, but having grown up on a farm all I can think of when someone says that is a tractor's power take-off.
In this shift from banking to wine, tech-stack wise I have gone from core banking to ERP. So far it seems like swapping out a Rube Goldberg machine for an omniscient haystack.
While I've left the financial industry, I'm excited to see this report finally be released. #OpenBanking is a change I wholeheartedly believed in and fought for while at @EQBank, and as an advocate for consumer data rights I'll continue watching with great interest. #onward
