As an athlete, you can't reach your full potential without failing many times. Without failing, you can't learn. And without learning, you can't improve.
As an athlete, you need to support your teammates after they make mistakes. Getting upset isn’t going to help them play better. By encouraging and uplifting your teammates, you help your team succeed.
It’s okay to make mistakes in practice. That’s what you’re supposed to do. If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not challenging yourself enough. The more you take risks and learn from your mistakes in practice, the better you’ll perform in games.
The harder you make practices, the easier games become.
As an athlete, you can’t always control what happens to you in games, but you can always control how you respond!
You don’t become mentally tough by simply reading books or watching inspirational videos. You have to apply what you learn and push yourself through difficult situations in order to truly build mental toughness.
