🧵Today marks 25 years since the first elections to the Scottish Parliament. For those of my generation and younger, the Scottish Parliament has always been the centre of public life. Looking back, the @scotlibdems led by @jrwallace54 achieved a lot in Govt too (1/4).

I agree with David and the campaigners, our highland communities need and deserve reliable, safe public transport. I look forward to working with David and his team to fight for better transport for our highland communities.
Couldn't agree more with @ColinMarr_Ness and other campaigners here. The late train wasn't only good for the night-time economy in Inverness but provided a safe journey home. People will expect ScotRail to be transparent about the conditions and timeline for their review.

Was out on the doors in mid dunbartonshire, very positive reception. Even had a constituent say they had previously had @willie_rennie at their door! Lots of people saying they won’t vote SNP, change is coming and @scotlibdems candidates like Susan Murray are ready 🔸
Eighteen years ago I won the Dunfermline and West Fife By election. It was a genuine privilege to serve for four years as Member of Parliament for the area.
Wendy is spot on, communities up and down Scotland need more transport support.
A train station would bring so many opportunities to Newburgh and the surrounding areas which is why I continue to back the @NewburghStation campaign.
