I have some #TTRPG #DnD skills but it's not art or storytelling so it's hard to show it. I want to teach all who are willing to learn. My major skill is Problem Solving and System building. If you don't know how helpful these skills are when Playing DnD I'll gladly talk about it.
One of the scariest words in the DM’s toolbox is “Seems” “With an 18 in perception, nothing seems off” “With a 2 in insight, they seem to be telling the truth.” “With a 10 in investigation, there don’t seem to be any traps” Chills every time, I swear to god. #DnD
#ttrpgfamily an idea to make combat easy smooth and fun. Instead of health on a monster give it tick marks for how many times it took damage or how many rounds it took some damage. The monster survives 1 + half the number of players if its a boss monster. Minions last one hit.
I am going to do something I never do... I am going to say you are playing DnD wrong if.... You play your character based off of alignment. Behave as your character would behave, don't behave as your alignment would behave Your character is mortal, it makes mistakes & changes

Crazy thought I had earlier. Since I have no local friends I have to ask for 5 to 7 complete strangers to all meet up once a week to pretend to have fun. Isn't #DnD great

Fellow GMs and DMs in #ttrpgfamily #TTRPGSolidarity when using VTTs how often do you need to switch scenes or pages? If you use grided maps mostly how many areas do you put into one page or scene? I want to gather info to help others.
Would anyone be interested in How to make Foundry work like Roll20 or anything along those lines? I have recently switched to Foundry and I like the nonsubscription and self-hosting. Do others need help making it work for them instead of against them?
Maybe someone on here knows about this. I am using @FoundryVTT and dont want the tokens to slide after moving them is this a possibility, or us it a core part of the program?
