Welcome camper 500! 1000 is the target, halfway there and 8 days to go.
Thoughts on pre recorded sessions for @SQLBits. It is at least as good as live remote presenting. Live remote I enjoy, but can feel disconnected from the audience. This way, I felt like there was two presenters. Mark 1 doing his thing on video, and Mark 2 interacting with people.
300 people registered for the next #DataWeekender. Thank you. Let's get the van moving. We want 1000+ registered. Sign up today. meetu.ps/e/Jdhh1/xTFk0/d

Wondering what type of sessions we are getting for #DataWeekender. Here is a quick word cloud. I guess there is going to be a bit of SQL and a bit of Power!

I caught up with two clients this week and was delighted to see that they had created their own PowerBI reports. Yes, they created them off the model that I had created, but this is still a big step forward. Confidence in the model and creation of your own report is a big step.
We love all sorts of sessions in #DataWeekender, but they don't all have to be technical. In fact we would love some outside of the box sessions. Career development, mental health, diversity, social commentary, overcoming adversity... spread the word. #TechIsMoreThanTechnology
And the Call for Speakers for the 2nd #DataWeekender #TheSQL is open! Get those submissions in. sessionize.com/DataWeekender-…
Best of luck to all the new speakers at @NewStarsOfData tomorrow. You are going to rock!
