Well said, sir. I would argue baseball, by far, is the hardest CTHS sport to establish a dynasty. One pitch, one error, one sore elbow, one case of the flu, one out-of-control prom. A season can be derailed a million times over. Yet, Amity, vs. the BEST competition, dominated.

Sal's 1st year was my sr year at Amity. It was one of my first beats. Later, I reported on the attempt to oust him, then watched the program go from 'will they ever win a state title?' to 'will they ever STOP winning state titles??' Amazing run, coach. Best wishes! #ctbase

The two most scrutinized and criticized GMs in all of sports right now are probably Craig Breslow (Red Sox) and Chris Drury (NYR). And they both grew up in the same little Connecticut town 4 years apart. Wild #trumbull
