encOunter Others-We Christians care deeply for those outside of our Christian community. We want all people to know the love, joy & peace of being right with God and being on the right path. We care for Others because God cares for you.
enCounter Community-church is the translated form of the Greek word ekklesia meaning assembly. To assemble with other believers at your local church is to fulfill this intent. A coming together of Christians for worship and fellowship and teaching, keep getting together.
eNcounter Nooma-In Acts 2:38 we are told that we will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit when we are baptized. Not everyone is given this gift but only those that obey the Gospel. What a blessing to have the Holy Spirit indwell in me and all Christians.
Encounter (series 2) Engage-It is not that some people have will power and some do not. It is that some people are ready to change and others are not. As Christians it's even deeper. It's not just being willing to change but being willing to let God change you. Engage God.
encounteR Redeem is defined as to buy back or to free from what distresses or harms. Christians understand that we have been Redeemed! We were once with God but became lost in sin then at a point of despair we agreed to let God buy us back and save from us great distress.
encountEr to Encourage is to give support, confidence, or hope to someone. This defines what God does for those that live for Him. In a world that is struggling more and more He gives us sure footing and confidence that we will stand with Him at the end and in the next life!
encounTer Trinity is what we call the three parts of God, which composes of God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit. Genesis 1:1-2 & John 1:1-2 show that in the beginning was the Father, the Spirit and Jesus. To truly encounter God is to encounter all parts of God.
encouNter Noble, defined as having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals. As Christians, we strive to reflect the noble traits of our Creator. Thank you God for instilling in us those qualities that shine in the darkness.
encoUnter Unwavering, defined as steady or resolute. This describes a Christian's mindset with our commitment to Christ. Though difficulties are sure to come and those around us may doubt, we will be resolute and unwavering to our Lord.
encOunter Others: We care for those outside of our Christian community because God loves all people. Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Community is defined as "a unified body of individuals" and that describes our Christian community. We are a unified group of Jesus followers striving to and helping each other get to Heaven. Love my community! #CasselhillscoC
Nooma - This is the transliteration of the Greek word for spirit. We are spiritual beings and need to live spiritually woke lives. Our spirit for a time is in a physical body but one day it will not.
Engage: defined as "participate or become involved in." Let's be engaged in our spiritual life. Pray to God today, pray often, pray sincerely. Pray for spiritual growth.
