The highest-percentage states are averaging around 70% doses distributed. Many of the lowest percentage states are in the southern part of the US at around 20%. Considering LA is at around 42%, and accounting for regional differences, LA is doing quite well!

When we look at the number of vaccines administered per 100,000 residents, Louisiana has administered the second highest volume of vaccines among the nearby states.

Very interesting comments by @SenTomCotton and @SenGillibrand regarding the @SASCMajority's hearing on civilian control of the military. Looking forward to the discussion that takes place in the confirmation hearing's for General Austin (USA, retired) as Sec. of Defense.

It wasn't uncommon during this unprecedented year for those of us responding to the pandemic and hurricanes to see civilians, many of whom were themselves affected, volunteering to help others. Way to go @volunteer_la! Incredible work! #service

It started with the 17th Amendment. The fundamental misunderstanding of our Nation's founding principles, paired with emotional and gregarious motives, result in legislation like this. Abolishing the Electoral College would be irresponsible and misguided. cohen.house.gov/media-center/p…

This is what true #leadership looks like. Well done @RepAndyKimNJ

Rep. Andy Kim was devastated to see the smashed furniture, broken American flags, cigarette butts and other debris left behind by the pro-Trump mob that ran wild in the US Capitol. So the New Jersey Democrat found a trash bag and helped clean up. cnn.it/39a5cei
