This is far from reality, Ed. The only councilor I hear say “defund the police” is you. My colleagues and I fought for additional investments and record increases in the public safety budget.
At tonight’s public safety meeting in SB, residents advocated for more public safety resources. However, most city council colleagues want to cut the public safety budget. I will continue to fight for more public safety resources in Boston. Defunding the police is not the answer!
