I love boids! An olive sided flycatcher made friends with me when I was working in a campground many years ago. I think he liked the music I played as I drove with the top down on the car.

let this poor TRAPPED bird GO! Plus, it isn't a female - only the males are so colorfully feathered.
When I see how this animal is held between the fingers by force, I feel sick.
The bird doesn't look pleased or comfortable. Is the video worth the bird stress ? I don't think so !
... but why are they holding it's feet so hard? This bird is being restrained against it's will & they are hurting it. Probably reason for it's unusual behavior. Ever who is doing this is a cruel emotionless person 😡
At first glance I thought it was a multicolored creepy crawler on top of a birds head.
Did this royal flycatcher fly into a window and injure its neck? It almost seems broken. That doesn't seem to be a normal physical reaction to a bird being captured in a ghost net if this bird was caught during a bird banding event.
Beautiful & looks like she's showing it off. Our Creator amazes me every day. Thanks for finding this.
