My insurance is doubling because I’m out of the income range this year

Without taxpayer dollars that’s the cost. That’s the cost. We subsidize the cost as a country. This was a trial run of universal healthcare and we as a country failed.
Without ACA subsidies, a couple in Peabody, MA earning $85,000 a year could see their monthly health care premium increase from $892 to $2,096. Republicans shut down the government over this and want families to pay thousands more. Democrats want to keep insurance costs low.
