Call me crazy but I've spent 6 months making one YouTube video. If you're still wondering what direction to take in life. Try something and commit to it for 6 months. Long enough to know if it's worth it. Short enough to switch to something else if it doesn't.
EVERYONE on this planet has a gift. You can call it purpose, superpower, unique ability. - Majority take it to their grave without knowing - Some feel it but can't articulate - A few know exactly but don't have a strategy to bring it to action Don't keep your gift, share it!
If you don't share the same values with your partner, you're in trouble. I can count myself lucky to have found my wife who has the same beliefs and outlook on life. This helps us stay together during difficult times and build our family the way we both want.
I'm a dreamer. I can spend long time thinking about the bright future, opportunities and plans. But the execution part was always struggling and I ended up with little or no progress. It's important to think long term, but without short term actions your dreams means nothing.
It's easier to give people advice than yourself. Because you emotionally detached from their situations. Journaling helps to see yourself from the side perspective and find the solution.
If you don't have motivation to get things done, you haven't thought through your vision enough.

If you don’t choose your values, others will choose them for you. If you don’t choose your beliefs, others will choose them for you. If you don’t choose how to use your time, others will choose it for you.
If "finding" the Life Purpose brings pressure to you (it certainly did for me), let's make it simple. You don't need to find your purpose, you need to find activities that don't feel pointless.
Ikigaj concept has nothing to do with the vienn diagram that we all have seen. Even though I like the overlapping circles idea, it's not what Japanese originally say. They meant more than just a pursuit of financial success.
Your values reflect all your decisions. Value independence? You will figure out how to get it. Value creativity? You will find out the outlet to express it. Value material things? You will do anything to posses it. You attract what you constantly think of.
Passion doesn't need purpose. But Purpose is built on passion.
I'm creator, dad, employee, foreigner, husband, brother, friend, colleague, son, filmmaker, video editor.. The list goes on but I can't attach myself to any of those nouns only because I'm more than that I'm more like a verb.
If you persist in times of confusion, the dots will connect. Just wait. Happens to me all the time.
