SPF tells how long UV would take to redden skin when using the product as directed vs. the amount of time without. Ideally, SPF 30 it would take you 30x longer to burn than if you weren’t wearing sunscreen. An SPF 30 allows about 3 percent UVB rays to hit your skin. #Melanoma
