Our landscape architect is getting too big for us! Game Changers | Tim Duggan | Metropolis Magazine: bit.ly/y9cTp6

It's been so warm recently that I actually got a mosquito bite tonight.

hadn't planned on starting tomatoes until next month, but with this warm weather, maybe it's worth the risk? anyone else starting this soon?

And we're back! The babe is now 10 months old and somewhat self-sufficient...for 15 minutes at a time. But, hey, long enough to start seeds

If you want fruit or shade trees -- or other plants -- Nuts & Bolts at 95th & Nall has them marked 75% off! Power tools also marked down

Egg production is picking up -- finally! We are now up to about 4 eggs each day!

Planning where to plant fruit trees takes so much forethought! They'll be around longer than we will! I need to think of EVERYTHING first...

glad it's "cooling off" today because yesterday we were dripping sweat working in the shade

It's currently raining AND the sun is out...looking for a rainbow

We have had a hooved visitor inside the garden again. I thought the electric fence meant the end of our problems...
