At $1.90, $ALTO has just barely started trading above the price it was at when Bradley Radoff's group disclosed their activist position back on February 24 ($1.87). The market is contradicting itself here. Back in February: 1. The BBB, which substantially extends 45z credits,…
$PBI was trading at $9.10 when Kurt Wolf negotiated his incentive structure. Instead of opting for $3m of shares, he asked for $3m of options with an average strike of $14. This is a bad trade unless he believes the stock is going higher than $23.10. $PBI's convertible note…
$PBI closes below $12 again. On an unrelated note, the newly-appointed CEO (who already has all of his net worth tied up in $PBI) elected to receive 85% of his annual compensation in the form of literal call options that have strikes ranging from $12 to $16.
Check out my latest article highlighting $pbi as a top pick and noting its similarities to how the Gamestop $gme played out in 2021. hiddenrockcapital.substack.com/p/pitney-bowes…
the $PBI story is complex, but all you really need to look at is that despite falling top-line (due to accounting changes + some 'temporary' biz headwinds), EBIT grew $28M and the CEO has enough confidence in that EBIT trend to go all-in on buybacks
Fantastic article out this morning by @JohnHuber72 that everyone should check out!! 😉 substack.com/home/post/p-16…

$PBI Lance will get a $750k lump sum and $50k per month for advising til Sep '25... Kurt's annual salary will be $50k with potential performance bonus of $500k. Long term incentive of $3mm at exercise prices of $12/$14/$16. This is a great deal for shareholders!

Radoff's group getting two board seats on $ALTO board out of 6 seats. Gilbert Nathan is only board member I have seen purchase shares in the open market. With the new members + Gilbert we'll now have half of the board that has shareholder returns solidly in their focus

On $PBI repurchases, my calculations show about 51mm in volume in the past four weeks since the 10k dropped. How much % of the volume are repurchases? 25%? 10%? At 25%, they may be thru $130mm of the $150mm authorization. If only 10% of vol, then maybe only 1/3 of the way thru
