In my nightly routine, I always sketch "tomorrow" a rough image to take to my dreams. I wake up energized & excited. As a #travelwriter✍️tomorrows are usually a travel adventure. We all know about NYC but there is this far away land of beauty called "Upstate NY" #travel🧳
With #Covid19 #travel assignments have dried up - so time to be adventurous. #LakeOntario is at the very top of New York state. I had planned on traversing the lake but not so easy now to just cross borders. So new plan I'll only cover the USA side.
The oddest thing . . . I began to plan for a long walk tomorrow. On the map is a large park - simply called the "County Park" - which there is no mention anywhere online or even a single photo to be found. Too early to call the county & ask . . . such a mystery.
What an exciting phone call!! A dear #traveljournalist friend asked me to join five others - 2 Canadian 3 Americans to do a combined #travelstory as we are all grounded from our international assignments. I will be joining them to walk around #LakeOntario. Now to plan & pack!
