Feeling overly grateful again tonight. Y'all are awesome. The fact that I can go live during the UM game and basically narrate a game of simulated Madden and 120 of you want to hang out with me is so absolutely ridiculous and awesome at the same time. Y'all make my life better

Twitter handle checks out.

Well for one he’s the most underrated offensive mind in the NFL He develops his assistants and their approach stays consistent

Tashard Choice just spent about 3 minute praising the RB's run blocking, then finished with: "But I still tell them they're sorry as hell."

Lions RB coach Tashard Choice on David Montgomery's pass protection: "Animal" (x5)

I asked Dan Campbell if Alim McNeill was 50/50 last week, what is he this week. Said 51/49, in either direction. Said if he does play they'd probably limit him to 20-25 snaps.

Really good stuff here.

Last month, I went around the locker room, polling some veterans about the biggest difference between Aaron Glenn and Kelvin Sheppard. What I unearthed was a significant twist with Sheppard's approach, detailed in this morning's story: detroitfootball.net/p/kelvin-shepp…

The answer is kinda complicated. I get more into it in my preview here: prideofdetroit.com/detroit-lions-… But the short version is KC gives up a lot of medium runs, not a lot of long ones. I think the back 7 compensates for some leakiness up front.

Pretty sure they’ve been bad against the run as well no?

Interesting note here. Lions seem more equipped than ever to stop the scrambling QBs, but this week is obviously a BIG test.

Baker Mayfield has been scrambling more than ever in his career. He also inspired me to look up just how much QBs are scrambling this year league-wide. And guess what, QBs are scrambling at the highest rate in NFL history. And for more yards and first downs than ever, too!
