Watching the Building Applications with ASP.NET MVC4 course from @pluralsight authored by @OdeToCode pluralsight.com/courses/mvc4-b…

I did a multithread search and total time is now 1/3 of best timing.

I had been worked as "system analyst and developer" for 20 years. Now it's like retirement. Cozy :)

it's quite comfortable when working as a developer and there is a seperate system analyst to fight with people :)

This time I noted down all the tricky parts to my notebook.

I developped a windows service application after 4 years. I've spent 1 day to develope 3 days to install.

45 second of work is now 9 seconds by moving the operation from DB server to App Server and applying multi threading. It's not magic.

Do everything in Strored Procedures and loose control when database get bigger. When you need speed 18 pages of stored procedure is not good

He created objects and create objects from objects and create objects from objects to save 3 fields to database. Seriously what is this?

OOP or OOPS ? It's like a puzzle to support a program written by someone who thinks it's Object oriented. It's simply spagetti coding

I'm missing those old days, when the screens were black or green and the programs flow top to bottom with full control
