Has there been a multi-season binge drama that has become an all time classic? Like in the realm of Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Friday Night Lights, The Americans? Talking stick the landing good. Some animated and comedies sure, but drama?
Adolescence was a masterpiece and the perfect example of why the binge model is the worst thing for our industry. It was the talk of the town for ONE WEEK. The Pitt, White Lotus, The Studio, etc? Still being talked about every single day.
The Handmaid’s Tale is back for its final season. My TL has been pretty quiet about it, especially for a once vocal fan base. Probably has a lot to do with what is happening in the world. Surprisingly, it is one of Hulu’s only remaining hit shows. thedevelopmenttrack.com/does-disney-ha…

Last week Amazon fired their head of content Jen Salke. While the media has obsessed over that decision, I argue that there is another streamer that has a much worse track record. What's surprising is that it is run by the person who might take over all of Disney. Link below.
A lot has been written about #AppleTV lately, especially as reports leaked that it loses a billion dollars a year. I have a lot of thoughts and solutions for the streamer. While I don't think the service is going anywhere, there are a lot of ways for it to improve! Link below.
