I don't claim to know what goes on in an NHL locker room, but it feels like the Q. Hughes debacle has soured things. Guys were asked to waive no move clauses and declined. Luke and Jack wanted their brother here and our GM failed to deliver. I can't imagine it's a fun room.
The Quinn failure really was the moment it all fell apart. Quinn openly wanted to come here and the GM backed himself into a corner & couldn’t get out of it. Now you’ve got players who aren’t wanted. Team is a mess. Fans are a mess. Everything around the ENTIRE org is a mess.
The Quinn trade. Not being able to move Dougie/Palat. Photoshopping pictures of Jack’s hand. Luke booing. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
At this point I’m honestly hoping we just tank the rest of the season and blow it up. Fire the GM. Fire the coaches. Buyout the players and make trades for future assets. This shit is embarrassing.
