Got this book as a gift: and what a gift! My first drawing using @markcrilley “two pencil method” 1) 2b lead in a .5mm pentel 1000 and (2)for deep black - a charcoal pencil (i didn’t have a prismacolor black) on a moleskine notebook. Still needs work but I’m happy.
Looks like Drew Barnes didn’t study his math very well. Probably didn’t know 68% of the material he was taught. Though in his defence; 100-42 isn’t grade 9 math, which he’s criticizing here. It’s grade 3.
