While Juneteenth is now a National Holiday, but we can’t teach the history behind it in our school systems. What kind of message does this really send? Unfortunately, this is an example of what diversity has looked like over the years. Placeholders instead of real change.


Great take! How do we get the power to shift?

If racism = prejudice + power. Diversity and Inclusion programmes seem to spend far too much time trying to "fix" the prejudice part of the equation and not enough time on shifting who has the power.

Diversity and Inclusion shouldn’t be a response to violent, racist, xenophobic acts. It should be the norm. It should be priority one and reflect the society we live in today. Too often, it’s the response to something negative happening. It should simply be the norm.


It’s time we start talking about inclusion in the workplace and mental health. Although May was mental health awareness month, it’s something we need to take a deep dive in and make sure we are protecting our co-workers. Peace & good health matters.
