We view Microsoft as now on a glide path to close the Activision deal and do a carve out (Game Pass subscription) to comply with UK issues. This is a major victory for MSFT to get this deal for consumer franchise. Also MSFT beating FTC a win for Big Tech for future M&A deals 🏆📝
I have tried Threads for a number of hours over the last week. The news feed I find messy and cannot control who or what I am seeing in any order..so Instagramish. Feels like eating Broccoli…I get some luv it but I cannot eat it. Twitter feels like my NYC 🍕-works well for me 📝
FTC arguments against ATVI never made sense to many in the industry and on the Street. Big win for Redmond in its battle to own Activision. 🔥🏆
We get how the bears sound smart and scary in this backdrop, but we view this as a seminal moment in the evolution of technology just beginning to play out for the next decade. AI spend is real and not just hype-we believe this will be a key narrative in 2Q tech eps season 🐂🍿⛅️
We believe overall the tech sector will be up another 12%-15% in the second half of this year led by software/chip sector with Big Tech remaining the "torch bearer" for this tech rally continuing to heat up. AI Revolution is here-seeing first signs of spending. 1995 Moment 🐂🏆⛅️
Based on our recent checks we believe enterprise IT budgets have started to show signs of improvement in the June quarter with the AI wave of spending catalyzing a clear sentiment change for many CIOs that will be front and center for the tech space over the coming weeks. 🐂📝⛅️
Bears 🐻 will come out of hibernation after a 🔥1H for tech and double down on their negative 2023 market calls. We could not disagree more as AI monetization biggest tech trend since Internet 1995; also 2Q tech earnings season should be better than Street as #’s conservative 🐂
Appreciate the Twitter platform even more now after spending some time on Threads. Reminds me of the feeling I have drinking that first cup of Hazelnut coffee from @dunkindonuts when you arrive back in NYC from traveling abroad for a few weeks ☕️☕️☕️☕️🕺🫢🕶
For content this wknd the Netflix: in my opinion the American Gladiator and WHAM docs are 🔥🔥🔥🔥📺📺📺🍿🍿🍿🏆🏆🏆🕶🕶
Have a great weekend everyone!! Have fun and enjoy!! 🔥🕺🕶🤠🏆🐂📺🍿📝🔐🐐📺🥩🍎☕️
