Our Year 4 and 5 children had a great swimming session this week, focusing on vital basic water survival skills. This is more than a lesson—it's a crucial life skill that promotes water safety for years to come. Fantastic effort by all for taking these skills seriously!

ISA National Sailing @isasport After first experiencing sailing in Year 5 we are pleased that 4 Dixie pupils have taken part in the National ISA Sailing Event. Well done to Oscar, Marcus & Edward for their first event. Congratulations to Imogen in Y13 who is the National Champ!

A great turn out for the 1st Hinckley & Bosworth Primary Schools XC meet! 25 Year 3-6 children were all smiles around the course on Saturday morning - Perfect weather/running conditions too! It is also lovely to see so many Year 3s starting their XC journeys! #courage

Our children have had a fantastic and creative afternoon in Forest School. They created some brilliant artwork and were busy hunting for minibeasts, as well as looking for signs of autumn arriving in our forest area. A huge well done to our stick of the week winner! #ForestSchool

Year 3 braved the rain and had a fantastic time at the ISA Tri Golf Festival on Wednesday. It was a brilliant day of fun and sport, with eight schools taking part. A huge thank you to our Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders who came along to help out on the day. #TriGolf #ISA

Pippins children have been preparing and chopping up the apples that they collected from the Pippins garden, ready to make apple crumble.
Today we began our positive education lessons where we will be studying how our minds work. We began with concentration skills. We could tell you how we did it but it’s a secret. We also learned the most important 5 words we will ever learn. What you practise grows stronger.
