This pandemic has magnified the need to build emotional resilience and wellbeing for children. With uncertainties,the stress of so many changes at once, anxiousness in their caregivers, and loss of time with their friends, children are in high need of social and emotional care.
As an educator, my biggest takeaway from this is parents shouldn't hide the child's disability from the child (or themselves, for that matter). I'm glad to hear that Jai thinks things are changing in schools. It's high time. #knowledgeispower #inclusiveed #inclusiveeducation
