I cannot remember what year we did our last one. We were scheduled to do several that final year but the checks didn’t come in the mail. Thankfully TBS, TNN & @espn stepped up so we could move on.
What was the final race that y’all or other networks had to cover this way?
I know but that was a lifetime ago, probably 45 years.. ha!

Ha! That was a “high tech” studio in Philadelphia. Eli and I did several of these; also did a few w Mike Joy. @NASCAR television has come long way since these post production cup race voice overs a week after the race. Fans had to wait a week or longer to see it. Not anymore🏁
Wow! Hard to believe it has been that long. His talent, charisma & personality left us with so many special memories both on and off the track.
Thank you so very much! It seems like yesterday that I stood beside Benny and Ned as we watched history unfold. We were so thrilled to call that finish but none of us had any idea how significant that win would be. Twenty five years later I still get goosebumps watching it 🏁

The Venturinis posed for some photos and last at-track interviews as car owners following the ARCA West race last night. The team will be sold this week to Nitro Motorsports. Venturini Motorsports has fielded cars for 52 years.

When you and Eli would do commentary for the SETN races, how long after the race was run did you do the commentary?
