#Bugonia is a film quite unlike any I’ve seen in recent memory. Anchored by fantastic performances from Stone and Plemons, it’s tense and unpredictable, keeping you guessing until the very (slightly silly) end. It may be a remake, but it’s still smart, innovative filmmaking 👍🏼.
I am neither particularly saddened nor overly surprised at this news. The Kelvin films were fun (and undoubtedly brought the franchise back to life post-Enterprise), but they never quite smoothly blended old and new, and 9+ years since “Beyond” any forward momentum is long gone.

Really enjoyed #TheSmashingMachine. It’s Johnson’s best performance by a mile, and the Oscars buzz is well deserved (it’s the most nuanced and vulnerable I’ve ever seen him). Blunt is brilliant as well. Its ending feels oddly rushed, but other than that the film gets a big 👍🏼.
My parents (especially my late Mum) loved #KeepingUpAppearances (as did I), and the show simply wouldn’t have worked without Patricia Routledge and her impeccable comic timing. I shall raise a cup of Royal Doulton (with hand painted periwinkles) in your honour, ma’am ☕️. #RIP
