Crash! Fairfield first responders are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries at Kings Highway and Jennings Road. 2025-11-01@3:36pm--#Fairfield CT


Route 8 northbound is closed near exit 9 where a one car is rolled over and a second car is on fire shutting down the highway for an extensive time for investigation.


At around 2:30 p.m., Bridgeport Police responded to Broad Street and Linden Avenue after reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a child on a bicycle. Officers found that a young boy had been struck and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with a possible broken arm.


Man Shot A man was shot at the plaza at 1500 Reservoir Avenue. Multiple reports say the man in his 20s was grazed in the abdomen and that he was conscious and alert. Witness said they heard two shots. 2025-10-25@8:42pm-- #Bridgeport CT

Structure Fire After battling a porch fire in Black Rock, firefighters were called to a larger fire at the intersection of Huntington Road and Beecher Street. Chief Edwards told us everyone made it out of the building safely. There were no reported injuries.
