I love the organic interaction that happens when someone just stops by the booth. I honestly prefer it to scheduling meetings beforehand (and rarely do schedule), so ALWAYS come say hi! I don’t bite (in this context).
And THIS right here is why I say; “yes, I love it here, and I’ll do the best I can to put out these fires (on tops of fires), but …
there is one topic on twitter that, for the sake of my own peace of mind, i have marked as off limits for myself to ever discourse about, and it may or may not surprise you to know that it is publishing financials
Thank you! You wouldn’t BELIEVE the type of talent we lost because we are unwilling to examine what we compensate for the work that we ask for. (Yes, we will always find capable, and even amazing, folx willing to do this work at basement prices, but at what costs?)

Authors, please take a look, if you can. I can assure you, given my convos with y’all, it’s not sweet the way y’all think it is.

I promise you your editor isn't trying to slim down your figure count just to be mean, there are a lot of things to consider but #1 for me is: do you need this image to DEVELOP your point or is it just tacked on? Is color critical for understanding, or do you just like color?
