The stupid bstrd Europeans, turned against Russia at the call of USA! Now that Europe is in trouble with Ukraine, USA has cut them loose. If Europe acted more independently, rather than as a vassal of USA, it'd have good relations with Russia as it did for years.

No they are not. Its 50/50. Some of the worst countries for the average people to live in are democracies too. Bangladesh, South Africa, Jamaica, Brazil. And some of the best countries to live in are 'dictatorships': UAE, Singapore, Brunei.
